| The iotronica Music Project, is Amanda Byrne from Cornwall, UK. Influenced by music from her early childhood by musicians such as Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and many electronic bands of the 70s and 80s, she brought her first synthesizer at age 17, but after joining a band as a synth player, she accidentally became the main vocalist! After relocating to Cornwall in 1990, music, sadly became a distant memory which was always a regret. In 2010, after an inspiring dream about Io, in which she dreamed of sounds and colours that had never been seen or heard on Earth, Amanda decided to take up music again and in the very short time since, has composed some highly original Ambient Space Music. iotronica has had radio airplay a live radio interview and has received interest from a well known Electronic Music Record Label, who are awaiting a 60 minute demo.
